Calling all sports fans and members and friends of O’Boyle Council:

O’Boyle is organizing a summer softball team to play in the DC Fray League! We already have six members signed up, but are in need of several more.

All are welcome: Knights and non-Knights, men and women, family and friends. No experience or skill level required - just a love of fraternity, fellowship, and fun!

Games begin June 13, and will take place Thursday evenings on the National Mall.

If interested, contact Brother Knight Tom Dunne to sign up or learn more: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please let us know by June 1!

We hope to see you there!

Brothers,
Happy Easter, He is Risen! Do not go back as if Lent never happened. Renew yourself and grow further in Christ!

O'Boyle Council is riding to the rescue of Notre Dame and helping the local homeless at the same time. We will be collecting new pairs socks at our May meeting, St Vincent de Paul parish, and hopefully at our other parishes as well. Certain members and others have signed up to pledge money for the restoration of Notre Dame for each pair of new socks donated. If you want to add your pledge of any amount to help rebuild Notre Dame sign up online at https://forms.gle/SeCC9pGimtuR6Wcu9.

Finally, next Saturday, April 27, there will be the Polish Posta Night at St. Dominic at 6pm. Suggested donation is $15 and dinner will include pierogi, sauerkraut, kielbasa, and other treats. Celebrate Saints Faustina and John Paul the Great (who passed away on the Vigil of Divine Mercy in 2005). If you can help out let us know!
Vivat Jesus!

We look forward to 25 more years of living Christ's mission.  To signal our care, we agreed at yesterday's meeting to give $200 to St. Peter's on Capitol Hill for the Capital Improvements Campaign and $200 for St. Vincent de Paul's floor replacement.

Brothers,
We had a great meeting that was very well attended.  The social "hour" went well passed and we hope to see even more people next time.

Here are the two big events we want to promote.

1) Bowling next Saturday (23rd) at 6:30pm on JBAB.  RSVP if you haven't already so we can help arrange you getting on base. $30 gets a person 3 games, shoes, soft drinks, and pizza.  ALL monies will go to Warriors to Lourdes.

2) There is a third degree on March 30th.  Already four Knights are going so join your friends and take the third degree!

Additionally, in May we will have council elections for all elected positions (http://www.kofc.org/en/college/council-resources/for-officers/council-officer-roles.html).  If you are interested in helping continue the 25 years of success which O'Boyle has done for our four parishes and the church, please contact Jack, Patrick A, or Patrick R for more information.

This is a reminder of our meeting this Wednesday.  We got the beef stroganoff so we hope you can come and eat it.  Also, as earlier announced we will be planning our 25th anniversary bash and ways forward.  The bowling night will be a fundraiser for Warriors to Lourdes!  Additional ideas we received include: an overnight retreat, board game night or escape room, helping our churches get a street sign to direct people to the parishes, social outings that could be advertised to the public allowing for a come and see for prospective new members, group masses, tying in opportunities for adoration and/or a faith speaker at meetings, and a "next big project" to follow up on the ultrasound success.  Come and discuss these and other ways ahead.  The next ear can be epically great if we all provide ideas.
