Good afternoon Brother Knights.

We are living in difficult times as we are battling with the effects of COVID-19 virus. Archbishop Gregory made the understandable yet difficult decision to suspend all public Masses, parish events, and other related events in the Archdiocese of Washington, DC. Supreme Knight Carl Anderson has requested that all Knights of Columbus activities to be suspended for the time being. We strongly advise that people take extra precautions during this time and be up to date with what is occurring.

Because of these measures, O'Boyle Council is following suit and is suspending all events until further notice. Many churches in the are will remain open for the time being for private prayer. We encourage all Brother Knights to continue to pray that God will guide us through this challenging time, especially during Lent as we prepare ourselves for Easter. Please continue to wash your hands and practice social distancing for the time being. While this situation may be difficult for people to be in their homes for most of the time, please follow the guidelines of

If any Brother Knight is in need of ANY assistance, please reach out to the Leadership Team. We will do our best to support each other. We encourage all to make an act of spiritual communion each day to know that Jesus is still with us. We encourage all Brother Knights to pray the Rosary everyday the Our Lady may protect us. Pray for those who have been infected with the COVID-19 virus, for those who are in the healthcare system, for those who still have to engage others in the community, and for a speedy recovery and end to this pandemic.

Even though we may struggle greatly to know of God's presence in all of this, we read St. Paul from Romans 8:38-39. "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Vivat Jesus!
